Emirates to use premium economy-equipped A380 on Osaka Kansai route

Emirates A380
Currently, Emirates sends the A380 to Tokyo Narita.

Starting from June 1, 2024, Emirates will be upgauging the equipment used on its Dubai – Osaka Kansai flights from the current 777-300ER to the A380. From June 11, 2024, it will use four-class instead of three-class aircraft on the route.

While initially, the airline planned to use its four-class A380s on the route from June 1, 2024, that plan has been delayed, and instead, the route will operate using three-class A380s in the beginning. Once the four-class A380s are introduced on the route, Emirates will offer 484 seats including 14 in first, 76 in business, 56 in premium economy, and 338 in economy class in each direction.

That will be a 65-seat increase compared to the 419-seat 777-300ER which is being used on the route at this point.

Emirates is also using the four-class A380 on its daily Dubai – Tokyo Narita route. Additionally, the airline also operates daily flights to Tokyo Haneda Airport using 777-300ERs.
