China Eastern to resume Xi’an – Nagoya Chubu in mid-December 2024

China Eastern will operate the route using A320s.

On December 20, 2024, China Eastern will resume flights between Xi’an and Nagoya Chubu. It will operate the route as follows:

  • MU2025 / Xi’an – Nagoya Chubu / 1:30PM – 6:15PM / Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat
  • MU2026 / Nagoya Chubu – Xi’an / 7:15PM – 11:25PM / Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat

China Eastern will operate the route, which it suspended in February 2020 due to the pandemic, Airbus A320 aircraft equipped with 156 seats including eight in business and 148 in economy class.

Currently, no airline flies non-stop between Nagoya and Xi’an. Before the pandemic brought the travel industry to a halt, China Eastern and Loong Air offered flights on the route, 11 times a week and once a day, respectively.

Separately from the upcoming flights from Xi’an, China Eastern offers between two and three daily Shanghai – Nagoya flights.
