China Eastern reduces Shanghai Pudong – Naha during 2024 winter schedule

China Eastern uses a mix of A320s and A321s on its flights to Naha.

From October 27, 2024, China Eastern Airlines reduced the frequency of its flights between Shanghai Pudong and Naha from two daily rotations to one. The frequency will be increased to 10 weekly from January 1, 2025, until the end of the winter schedule. It will return to double daily from the 2025 summer schedule.

For the duration of the winter schedule, China Eastern will connect the two cities as follows:

  • MU2085 / Shanghai Pudong – Naha / 10:05AM – 1:30PM
  • MU287 / Shanghai Pudong – Naha / 11:40AM – 3:30PM / Wed, Fri, Sun
  • MU2086 / Naha – Shanghai Pudong / 2:30PM – 3:50PM
  • MU288 / Naha – Shanghai Pudong / 4:30PM – 6:15PM / Wed, Fri, Sun

China Eastern operates the route using a mix of Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft.

It is one of two airlines connecting the two cities alongside Spring Airlines, which offers four weekly flights.
