China Eastern Airlines will launch flights between Harbin and Tokyo Narita on December 28, 2024. With the exception of January 15 to February 18, 2025, when the route will operate daily, it will operate four times a week as follows:
- MU9843 / Harbin – Tokyo Narita / 8:10AM – 12:00PM / Mon, Tue, Thu, Sat
- MU9844 / Tokyo Narita – Harbin / 1:00PM – 3:15PM / Mon, Tue, Thu, Sat
The airline will operate the route using Airbus A320 aircraft, which it operates with 158 seats on board including eight in business and 150 in economy class.
Currently, the route is served by Spring Japan daily and by China Southern Airlines three times a week.
Harbin will be the seventh city from which China Eastern will serve Tokyo Narita. Currently, the airline serves the Japanese airport out of Shanghai Pudong, Wuhan, Nanking, Xian, Kunming, and Qingdao. It also flies from Beijing Daxing, Shanghai Pudong, and Shanghai Hongqiao to Tokyo Haneda.
