On January 31, 2024, China Airlines started operating two weekly temporary flights between Taipei Taoyuan and Toyama. The will be operated every Wednesday and Saturday until March 30, 2024, using the 737-800. The airline also operated seasonal flights last spring and fall. China Airlines operated scheduled flights on the route until March 2020.
