Like last year, China Airlines will increase the frequency of its Taipei Taoyuan – Sapporo New Chitose route from the current daily to up to double daily between December 13, 2024, and March 9, 2025.
The airline will do so by adding an extra rotation departing Taipei early in the morning to its existing daily rotation. Between December 13, 2024, and January 19, 2025, the extra rotation will operate daily and the route will be served as follows:
- CI2130* / Taipei Taoyuan – Sapporo New Chitose / 6:10AM – 10:45AM
- CI130 / Taipei Taoyuan – Sapporo New Chitose / 8:35AM – 1:10PM
- CI2131* / Sapporo New Chitose – Taipei Taoyuan / 11:45AM – 3:25PM
- CI131 / Sapporo New Chitose – Taipei Taoyuan / 2:40PM – 6:20PM
* Temporary rotation added during peak winter season. Scheduled to operate 40 minutes earlier than indicated above on Fridays and 50 minutes earlier on Sundays.
The temporary rotation will be operated using Airbus A32neo aircraft with 180 seats including 12 in business and 168 in economy class. The year-round rotation will continue to be operated using Boeing 777-300ERs with 358 seats including 40 in business, 62 in premium economy, and 256 in economy class.
China Airlines serves the Taipei – Sapporo route alongside EVA Air, Starlux Airlines, Tigerair Taiwan, and Scoot. The former three airlines operate their flights daily while Scoot flies between the two cities four times a week.
