China Airlines to turn Taipei – Naha double daily from late October 2024

China Airlines operates the rotation that will be increased using the A321neo.

China Airlines will operate flights between Taipei Taoyuan and Naha twice a day starting from October 28, 2024.

Currently, the airline operates a daily roundtrip in the morning and four weekly (every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday) roundtrips in the afternoon. With the schedule increase, it will turn the afternoon rotation daily and offer the following flights between the two cities:

  • CI120 / Naha – Taipei Taoyuan / 8:15AM – 10:45AM
  • CI122* / Taipei Taoyuan – Naha / 4:30PM – 7:00PM
  • CI121 / Naha – Taipei Taoyuan – 11:55AM – 12:35PM
  • CI123* / Naha – Taipei Taoyuan / 8:00PM – 8:40PM

* Rotation on which service will be increased from October 28, 2024.

China Airlines will continue to use Airbus A330-300s on the morning rotation. It operates those in two configurations with 307 and 313 seats respectively, with both featuring 277 economy class seats and either 30 or 36 business class seats. The afternoon rotation will continue to be operated using Airbus A320neos with 180 seats including 12 in business and 168 in economy class.

In addition to China Airlines, Peach operates the route three times a day; EVA Air twice a day; Starlux, Tigerair Taiwan, and Thai AirAsia X once a day; and Batik Air Malaysia four times a week.
