Cebu Pacific will launch flights between Manila and Sapporo New Chitose on January 16, 2025. It will operate the route three times a week as follows:
- 5J5128 / Manila – Sapporo New Chitose / 11:15AM – 5:25PM / Tue, Thu, Sat
- 5J5129 / Sapporo New Chitose – Manila / 6:25PM – 11:25PM1 / Tue, Thu, Sat
1 Scheduled to arrive in Manila at 11:20PM on Tuesdays.
For the time being, the flights are available for sale until the end of the 2024 winter schedule, with the last flight scheduled to operate on March 29, 2024. While it is unclear yet whether the flights will continue to operate during the 2025 summer schedule, with Sapporo being a popular winter destination, there is a possibility of the route being seasonal.
Cebu Pacific plans to use the Airbus A320neo on the route, which it operates with 188 economy class seats on board.
The airline currently serves Tokyo Narita and Osaka Kansai out of Manila and Cebu, and Nagoya Chubu and Fukuoka out of Manila.
