Between January 13 and March 8, 2025, British Airways will operate one daily rotation between London Heathrow instead of the current ten weekly. From March 30, 2025, when the 2025 summer schedule begins, the airline will increase the route to double daily, the same frequency it operated it with during the 2024 summer schedule.
During the period of schedule reduced to daily, the route will operate as follows:
- BA5 / London Heathrow – Tokyo Haneda / 11:50AM – 10:25AM+1 / Mon, Thu, Sat
- BA7 / London Heathrow – Tokyo Haneda / 9:05AM – 7:35AM+1 / Tue, Wed, Fri, Sun
- BA8 / Tokyo Haneda – London Heathrow / 9:35AM – 3:40PM / Mon, Wed, Thu, Sat
- BA6 / Tokyo Haneda – London Heathrow / 1:15PM – 7:15PM / Tue, Fri, Sun
British Airways will continue to operate the route using a mix of Boeing 787-8 and 787-9 aircraft throughout the winter schedule. It operates the former with 214 seats including 35 in business, 25 in premium economy, and 154 in economy class and the latter with 216 seats including 8 in first, 42 in business, 39 in premium economy, and 127 in economy class.
Both ANA and JAL also fly between Tokyo Haneda and London Heathrow, once and twice daily, respectively.
