Biman Bangladesh to reduce Dhaka – Tokyo Narita during 2024 winter schedule

Biman Bangladesh Airlines will reduce the frequency of its Dhaka – Tokyo Narita route from the current three to two weekly flights between October 27, 2024, and March 29, 2024. For the time being, the route is scheduled to return to three weekly service during the 2025 summer schedule.

During the 2024 winter schedule, Biman Bangladesh will not fly to Tokyo on Tuesdays and will will operate the route as follows:

  • BG376 / Dhaka – Tokyo Narita / 11:15PM – 8:15AM+1 / Thu, Sun
  • BG377 / Tokyo Narita – Dhaka / 10:00AM – 3:10PM / Mon, Fri

The airline will continue to operate the route using Boeing 787 aircraft. While it primarily deploys the smaller 787-8 with 271 seats including 24 in business and 247 in economy class on the route, occasionally, it also uses the larger 787-9 with 298 seats including 30 in business, 21 in premium economy, and 247 in economy class.

Biman Bangladesh is the only airline flying between Tokyo and Dhaka.
