On the first roundtrip, which operated about an hour behind schedule, Capital Airlines used an Airbus A320neo registered B-1248. It remains to be seen whether the airline will use its 180-seater A320neos or 174-seater A320-200s on the route going forward.
Prior to suspending the route on February 1, 2020, due to the pandemic, Capital Airlines operated the route twice a week. Between the route’s launch on July 2, 2015, and the suspension in 2020, it operated the route up to four times a week depending on the time period.
In addition to Capital Airlines, which is the only airline offering Hangzhou – Shizuoka flights, China Eastern Airlines serves Shizuoka out of Shanghai Pudong.
