On February 7, 2024, Batik Air Malaysia (formerly Malindo Air) launched flights from Kuala Lumpur to Nagoya Chubu via Kaohsiung. The new route will be operated three times a week using the 737-8. Combined with its existing three weekly flights from Kuala Lumpur to Chubu via Taipei, Batik Air Malaysia will offer a one-stop connection between Kuala Lumpur and Nagoya six times a week (excluding Mondays).
