Batik Air Malaysia to increase Kuala Lumpur – Kaohsiung – Nagoya from mid-Dec. 2024

Batik Air Malaysia currently operates the route three times a week.

Batik Air Malaysia will increase the frequency of its one-stop Kuala Lumpur – Nagoya Chubu via Kaohsiung route from the current three weekly flights to four weekly from December 16, 2024. Combined with its three weekly flights via Taipei, the airline will offer daily one-stop flights between the Malaysian capital and Nagoya.

Once the increase takes effect, Batik Air Malaysia will operate the route as follows:

  • OD890 / Kuala Lumpur – Kaohsiung / 2:25AM – 7:25AM / Mon*, Wed, Fri, Sun
  • OD890 / Kaohsiung – Nagoya Chubu / 9:25AM – 1:30PM / Mon*, Wed, Fri, Sun
  • OD891 / Nagoya Chubu – Kaohsiung / 2:30PM – 5:20PM / Mon*, Wed, Fri, Sun
  • OD891 / Kaohsiung – Kuala Lumpur / 6:20PM – 10:45PM / Mon*, Wed, Fri, Sun

* Rotation to be operated from December 16, 2024.

Batik Air Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur – Taipei Taoyuan – Nagoya Chubu flights will continue to operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

On both routes, the airline uses Boeing 737-8 aircraft with 180 seats, all in economy class.

No airline currently offers non-stop flights between Nagoya and Kuala Lumpur. The Nagoya – Kaohsiung route, on which Batik Air Malaysia has fifth freedom rights, is also operated three times a week by Tigerair Taiwan.
