Asiana Airlines set to increase Seoul – Sapporo between mid-January and early March 2025

Asiana Airlines will use the 777-200ER on the Sapporo route for a limited period.

Asiana Airlines appears to be set to increase the frequency of its Seoul Incheon – Sapporo New Chitose flights from the current daily to 10 weekly between January 14 and March 1, 2024.

Currently, the airline’s schedule includes the following flights, albeit all of the flights on top of the existing daily rotation display as sold out:

  • OZ174 / Seoul Incheon – Sapporo New Chitose / 9:10AM – 11:40AM
  • OZ1761 / Seoul Incheon – Sapporo New Chitose / 11:45AM – 2:30PM / Tue, Thu, Sat
  • OZ173 / Sapporo New Chitose – Seoul Incheon / 1:00PM – 4:00PM
  • OZ1751 / Sapporo New Chitose – Seoul Incheon / 4:00PM – 7:15PM / Tue, Thu, Sat

1 Scheduled to operate between January 14 and March 1, 2024, but sold out on all days.

The existing rotation is scheduled to be operated using Airbus A330 aircraft during the period with increased service. The extra rotation, with the exception of March 1, 2025, is scheduled to be operated using Boeing 777-200ER aircraft with 300 to 302 seats in business and economy class depending on the configuration. The March 1, 2025, rotation is scheduled to be operated by Airbus A321neo aircraft.

In addition to Asiana Airlines, Korean Air, Air Busan, Eastar Jet, T’Way, and Jin Air also connect Sapporo with Seoul.
