Earlier this year, ANA announced plans to resume its Tokyo Narita – Perth route during the 2024 winter schedule, with the first flight departing Tokyo on October 28, 2024. The plan to do so has now be brought forward to October 14, 2024.
For the two weeks until the end of the 2024 summer schedule (i.e., until October 26, 2024), the three weekly flights on the route will operate as follows:
- NH881 / Tokyo Narita – Perth / 11:10AM – 8:15PM / Mon, Wed, Sat
- NH882 / Perth – Tokyo Narita / 9:45PM – 8:25AM+1 / Mon, Wed, Sat
During the 2024 winter schedule (from October 28, 2024, until March 29, 2025), the Wednesday roundtrip will be replaced with a Thursday roundtrip and the departure and arrival times will shift by a few minutes:
- NH881 / Tokyo Narita – Perth / 11:20AM – 8:30PM / Mon, Thu, Sat
- NH882 / Perth – Tokyo Narita / 9:55PM – 8:30AM+1 / Mon, Thu, Sat
It is unclear whether the flights will continue operating after March 29, 2025, or whether they will be suspended until the 2025 winter schedule.
ANA will use Boeing 787-9 aircraft with 215 seats including 48 in business, 21 in premium economy, and 146 in economy class on the route.
The airline first launched flights between Tokyo Narita and Perth in September 2019 before suspending the route due to the pandemic at the end of March 2020. The route was then briefly resumed on October 29, 2023, before being suspended again in mid-April 2024. Once the route resumes, ANA will be the only airline connecting the two cities.
In addition to the upcoming flights to Perth, ANA also offers two daily flights from Tokyo Haneda to Sydney.
