On December 2, 2024, ANA will open the renovated ANA Suite Check-in area in the domestic part of Tokyo Haneda Airport’s Terminal 2. The renovated ANA Premium Check-in North will follow on December 18, 2024, and the ANA Premium Check-in South in summer 2025.
ANA started renovating the areas earlier this year with improvements including addition of check-in counters in the ANA Suite Check-in area and the installation of smart lanes at premium security checks. “The renovations will also introduce streamlined security procedures, eliminating the need to remove laptops and liquids from carry-on baggage,” said the airline’s statement released on November 21, 2024.
The areas’ design will be revamped too. ANA said, “Toban, decorative ceramic panels, will adorn the façade of each facility.” “The wall surface of the ANA SUITE CHECK-IN will feature traditional plastering, a technique recognized as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage,” it continued.
While the ANA Suite Check-in area is reserved for ANA’s top tier ANA Mileage Club Diamond status holders, the ANA Premium Check-in areas can be used by lower-tier ANA status holders and Star Alliance Gold members, as well as ANA Premium Class (domestic first class) passengers.
