ANA adds online delay compensation request and live lounge crowdedness indicators

ANA Lounge at Tokyo Haneda
For the time being, ANA only offers crowdedness level indicators for domestic lounges at Tokyo Haneda.

ANA improved the functionality of its website by adding providing passengers with the option of requesting delay and cancellation compensation online, as well as by adding lounge crowdedness level indicators to its website.

The new compensation request functionality allows passengers eligible for compensation due to request it online instead of having to line up at a counter or via mail and to check the status of their request. Compensation can be requested to be paid via a bank transfer or in a variety of gift cards (including Amazon Gift Card, PayPay Money Lite, nanaco Gift, and Edy Gift ID), ANA SKY Coins, or miles.

The crowdedness indicators show live status in four levels: vacant, normal crowds, relatively crowded, and crowded. They are currently available for Tokyo Haneda Airport’s two domestic ANA Lounges and the domestic ANA Suite Lounge. The service is expected to be expanded to Narita Airport’s international lounges within this fiscal year (i.e., by March 31, 2025).
