Between July 4 and August 29, 2024, South Korean low-cost Air Seoul will add an extra weekly rotation on its Seoul Incheon – Tokyo Narita route. With that, combined with its existing three daily rotations, the airline will operate up to 22 weekly flights on the route.
The new frequency will operate as follows:
- RS707 / Seoul Incheon – Tokyo Narita / 1:00PM – 3:40PM / Thu
- RS708 / Tokyo Narita – Seoul Incheon / 4:40PM – 7:20PM / Thu
Air Seoul will use Airbus A321s equipped with 220 economy class seats on the flights.
In addition to Air Seoul, about a dozen other airlines operate between the two countries’ capitals.
AirJapan, Air Busan, Air Premia, EastarJet, Ethiopian Airlines (fifth freedom flight), Jeju Air, Jin Air, T’Way, ZIPAIR offer flights between Narita and Incheon. Aero K is expected to start serving the route at the end of May 2024 too. Korean Air offers flights from Incheon to both Narita and Haneda, as well as from Gimpo to Haneda. Asiana Airlines flies from Incheon to Narita and from Gimpo to Haneda. Lastly, Japan’s ANA and JAL offer flights between Haneda and Gimpo.
