Air Macau scraps mid-July 2024 Macau – Fukuoka resumption plans

Air Macau A320
Air Macau planned to operate the flights using the A320.

Earlier this year, Air Macau had plans to resume flying between Macau and Fukuoka from July 12, 2024. It appears now appears, however, that those plans have been scrapped and the airline has postponed the resumption indefinitely.

Air Macau connected the two cities until 2020 when it suspended the route due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to scrapping the resumption plans, it intended to operate the route three times per week using Airbus A320 aircraft equipped with 158 seats including eight in business and 150 in economy class.

With the resumption cancelled, Macau and Fukuoka will remain without a non-stop link for the foreseeable future.

Air Macau will continue to serve Tokyo Narita and Osaka Kansai daily.
