Air China increases Beijing Capital – Osaka Kansai service to double daily

Air China uses the A321-200 on its newly added rotation from Beijing to Osaka.

Air China resumed rotation between Beijing Capital and Osaka Kansai departing the Chinese capital in late morning from June 27, 2024. With that, the airline operates two daily flights between the two airports as follows:

  • CA927 / Beijing Capital – Osaka Kansai / 8:40AM – 12:40PM
  • CA127* / Beijing Capital – Osaka Kansai / 11:20AM – 3:30PM
  • CA928 / Osaka Kansai – Beijing Capital / 2:00PM – 4:15PM
  • CA128* / Osaka Kansai – Beijing Capital / 4:45PM – 7:00PM

* New frequency added on June 27, 2024.

While the existing CA927/CA928 frequency is being operated by the widebody Airbus A330-300 with 301 or 311 seats depending on the configuration including 30 or 36 in business class, the newly resumed rotation is being operated by the narrowbody Airbus A321-200 with 185 seats including 12 in business class.

In addition to Air China, ANA and Hainan Airlines also offer flights between Kansai and Beijing Capital, with the former flying three times a week using the A320neo and the latter daily using the 737-800. China Eastern Airlines, China Southern Airlines, and Juneyao Air fly between the Japanese airport and Beijing’s newer Daxing Airport.
