From October 27, 2024, Air Canada reduced the frequency of its Toronto – Tokyo Narita route from daily to three weekly flights. The scaled down service, operated as follows, will continue until March 30, 2024:

In addition to Narita, Air Canada serves Tokyo Haneda from Toronto daily using the 777-300ER. No Japanese airline offers flights on the route.

The Canadian flag carrier also offers flights from Vancouver and Montreal to Tokyo Narita. The latter was reduced from daily to four weekly for the duration of the winter schedule.
